Saturday started off very grey and a little damp, but fortunately improved as the day went on. Work focused on site in a number of areas, with the office being the main one. Davie was busy shaping up metal patches to repair some of the corroded areas. The one he completed was riveted in place and the next one should follow suit shortly. Once these repairs are complete the outside of the office will be painted. Inside Chris started to apply some emulsions to the walls, which is already improving the internal appearance.
One of the other jobs undertaken was to lay a new floor in the container that will become the garage for the dumper trucks. This was done using some of the large timber that we have had stored.
Peter and Tom worked on a number of jobs, whilst Alan and Bill were in the coaches.
Sunday again started poorly but got better as the day progressed. The unit was in action and a steady stream of visitors appeared.
