Saturday 9th November

A good turn out of volunteers allowed a number of jobs to be undertaken today. The main task was to split the signal post that is to go back up to Stirling from the rest of the signal. This was quite a task and took nearly all of the day and quite a few people to achieve, but by the end of the day the post was ready for collection. Other jobs done today include a number of small jobs on various areas of the permanent way and Davie turned his needle gun on the Eskbank footbridge. We also saw our first flurry of snow of the season, although it didn’t settle.

  1. Had to say it didn’t you, the ‘S’ word.
Warm sunshine for the rest of the season I hope.
    Fat Chance.
