Borders Railway Project: update on progress in Tweedbank and Galashiels

A look at the current progress on the re-building of railway back to Tweedbank. The views start near the Tweedbank compound and work along to the area around Currie Road in Galashiels. Please note that all the images were taken from public areas.

  1. What a waste of money… Not to mention the fact that people will have to commute to the stations, either by car or Bus, to use the train. The projected cost will be exceeded by around a factor of 3 (give or take), and could potentially put a large number of local people out of work. Thank you Scottish government for risking a huge amount of money and jobs for the sake of a ‘white elephant’. Xxx
